Our Master's program in Agricultural Economics features two main pathways: the research-focused traditional track and the professional MS in international agribusiness. The traditional track emphasizes thesis-based research, equipping graduates for roles in business, consulting, finance, government, and NGOs. This thesis option also builds the groundwork for students considering further doctoral studies. Research opportunities are tailored to each student's specialization, available research topics, and faculty expertise. Alternatively, the Professional M.S. in International Agribusiness is a non-thesis program designed to be completed in three semesters plus a summer term, specifically preparing graduates for careers in global agribusiness. While sharing some coursework with the research track, this professional program maintains unique curriculum requirements and distinct career outcomes.
