The Robotics Engineering Technology major falls under the Manufacturing Engineering Technology program, which holds accreditation from ABET's Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission at www.abet.org.
This is one of three majors available through the Purdue Polytechnic Institute for students aiming to work at the intersection of manufacturing, electrical, mechanical, and computing fields, mainly in industrial settings. As a robotics engineering technology major, you'll create and implement robotic solutions for a wide array of industrial and consumer challenges. Robots enhance productivity and safety for individuals and businesses while enabling exploration of new frontiers.
Students must have completed a high school or have earned 11 or fewer semester credit hours at another college after high school graduation. TOEFL – 80 iBT or higher - In general, while subscores are generally 20 or higher per section. IELTS - In general, applicants have an overall score of 6.5 or higher with at least a 6.0 in each section.
