The Mechanical Engineering Technology major is a component of the Mechanical Engineering Technology program, which holds accreditation from the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission of ABET, accessible at www.abet.org.
Graduates in mechanical engineering technology find employment with diverse companies such as Rockwell Automation, Fender Guitars, Lockheed Martin, and Caterpillar, sharing essential abilities like problem-solving, leadership, and teamwork. The program emphasizes the methods, materials, machinery, and workforce required for effective performance in manufacturing settings. You will gain expertise in managing personnel, equipment, and production assets to achieve peak efficiency and safety.
Students must have completed a high school or have earned 11 or fewer semester credit hours at another college after high school graduation. TOEFL – 80 iBT or higher - In general, while subscores are generally 20 or higher per section. IELTS - In general, applicants have an overall score of 6.5 or higher with at least a 6.0 in each section.
