Enhance your skills in real estate business with an emphasis on public-private collaborations, housing, and urban development, while upholding sustainability's three pillars: economic viability, social equity, and environmental responsibility. The curriculum provides both theoretical foundations and hands-on training in key real estate areas such as financing, investments, property development, zoning laws, and legal frameworks. You'll master the techniques for creating sustainable spaces, revitalizing properties, overseeing facilities, and securing infrastructure initiatives through public-private ventures and community engagement. Pratt's Real Estate faculty lead distinguished, award-winning firms and are dedicated to imparting their expertise in shaping the physical environment. This Real Estate Practice program is designed for completion within three semesters of full-time enrollment, with all classes scheduled for late afternoons and evenings at Pratt's Manhattan location.
Applicants should have a bachelor's degree in business, architecture, construction management, engineering, or interior design. Applicants in other fields are eligible but may be required to take non-credit courses in building technology unless they have acquired equivalent knowledge through non-academic experience.
TOEFL score of 79 (internet and home test), TOEFL ITP Plus for China of 550, IELTS of 6.5, Duolingo of 105, or PTE of 53 is required. Admission is for fall and spring term.
