Concentration-specific studios and electives offer focused study and hands-on experience with both traditional and contemporary visual arts methods. BFA students explore diverse liberal arts subjects through foundational and survey courses, covering philosophy, literature, and art historical criticism alongside studio practice. A high school diploma or equivalent is required for admission to all of Pratt Institute's undergraduate programs.
A minimum TOEFL 79 (Internet-based test or Home Edition); TOEFL ITP Plus, a 550 is required. The required IELTS or IELTS Indicator score is 6.5 and PTE is 53.
