The Department of Health, Human Performance and Recreation holds that students pursuing careers in education, wellness, and recreation must demonstrate both academic excellence and strong professional ethics. Departmental students are required to uphold high ethical standards and maintain sufficient self-awareness. Academic performance and professional behavior are assessed through semester grades and observed conduct. If progress is deemed insufficient, the department will notify the student and recommend corrective measures. Serious ethical violations may lead to immediate removal from all programs. The department offers several degree options: a Bachelor of Science in Education (Physical Education), a Bachelor of Science (Recreation Services, Sport and Hospitality Management), a Bachelor of Science (Exercise Science), and a Master of Science (Health, Human Performance and Recreation).
