The Associate in Arts in Psychology for Transfer Degree prepares students to transition into a psychology degree program. This curriculum explores the scientific examination of human behavior and mental functions. Those enrolled in the AA-T Psychology program will examine consciousness, personal growth, fundamental aspects of perception, learning, thought processes and drives, the connection between physiology and behavior, as well as psychological conditions and therapeutic applications.
Graduates of the AA-T Psychology program receive assured benefits when transferring to the CSU system: guaranteed junior standing, preferential admission to a CSU campus, and priority consideration for psychology or related majors. Transfer students to CSU institutions will need to complete a maximum of 60 additional units to obtain their bachelor's degree.
