The Associate in Arts in Kinesiology for Transfer (AA-T Kinesiology) degree prepares students to transfer smoothly with junior standing and priority admission to their nearest CSU campus for a Kinesiology or related bachelor's degree program. Requirements include: Completing 60 semester or 90 quarter units transferable to the California State University system, which must include: (A) Either the Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC) or CSU General Education Breadth Requirements, and (B) At least 18 semester or 27 quarter units in a major or concentration as specified by the community college. Students must maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA and earn a C grade or higher in all major coursework. The degree requires no more than 60 semester units. The AA-T Kinesiology also facilitates transfer to UC campuses and other four-year institutions for Kinesiology majors. Students should meet with a counselor to confirm specific transfer requirements.
