A sports medicine degree equips students for careers in clinical or applied health fields or advanced studies in exercise science-related disciplines. Both program tracks involve significant hands-on lab work. Students are urged to engage in research projects and internship/volunteer opportunities aligned with their specialization and career goals.
This program path includes the sports medicine core curriculum plus supplementary courses in applied health and exercise science. Graduates with a B.A. in Sports Medicine gain qualifications for health/fitness industry roles and eligibility for graduate studies in exercise and sport sciences.
