Seaver College's Hispanic studies (Spanish) program provides students with linguistic proficiency and cultural understanding to effectively communicate in Spanish across diverse contexts. The Hispanic studies (Spanish) major develops students' ability to analyze literature, dialects, traditions, and historical-geographical aspects of Spanish-speaking regions. This program aims to cultivate not only bilingual competence but also an appreciation for cultural diversity and students' potential to contribute meaningfully with this intercultural perspective.

International first-year applicants must submit proof of English proficiency, which may be demonstrated by one of the following:
IELTS Overall Band score of at least 6.5
TOEFL iBT score of at least 80
