The Middle Level Mathematics pathway is tailored to enhance your professional development and subject mastery as a teacher. This curriculum equips you to instruct students across all disciplines for grades 4-6 while specializing in Mathematics for grades 7-8. Those pursuing the Mathematics concentration will generally focus on foundational studies in their initial two years, working to fulfill the Entrance to Major prerequisites. This preparation qualifies you to apply for the ML Mathematics program in your fourth semester. After admission, you'll engage in specialized coursework that deepens your knowledge of adolescent education, encompassing Arts and Literacy instruction alongside two dedicated Mathematics pedagogy classes.
