Oregon State University's Applied Economics Graduate Program provides Master of Science, Master of Arts, and Ph.D. degrees in Applied Economics. The curriculum at both graduate levels includes: (i) a solid core of advanced courses in economic theory, econometrics, and quantitative methods, along with (ii) specialized focus areas such as environmental and resource economics, international trade and development, plus customizable fields based on student interests. Learners apply economic principles and analytical techniques to address pressing practical issues, with careful consideration of institutional frameworks, situational contexts, and empirical data.
This program is developed and taught by OSU's renowned Applied Economics faculty, representing multiple departments including Applied Economics, Forest Ecosystems and Society, Forest Engineering, Resources and Management, the School of Social and Behavioral Health Sciences, and the Economics Program within the School of Public Policy.
