Bioengineering combines engineering concepts with quantitative approaches to enhance understanding across molecular, cellular, tissue, organ, and system scales, while creating innovative biological products, materials, devices, and techniques.

Through a collaboration between Oregon State University and the University of Oregon, students can pursue joint MS and PhD programs in Bioengineering, with access to faculty mentors at both institutions. Additionally, Oregon State provides a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in this field.
