The 18-credit Graduate Certificate in College and University Teaching offers specialized coursework and hands-on training for students aiming to teach in higher education or enter fields requiring comparable instructional abilities. Upon completion, participants earn an official credential that appears on their academic transcript, awarded by the Graduate School.
This certificate program typically takes two years to finish and can be pursued alongside another graduate degree or independently as a standalone qualification. The GCCUT is available in two formats: one at Oregon State's Corvallis campus and another through Oregon State Ecampus. Both current OSU graduate students and prospective students seeking the certificate without an additional degree may apply.
