The Forest Engineering-Civil Engineering dual program awards a Bachelor of Science in both Forest Engineering and Civil Engineering. Both BS degrees are accredited by ABET's Engineering Accreditation Commission (http://www.abet.org), with the Forest Engineering degree additionally accredited by the Society of American Foresters. This distinctive five-year dual degree initiative, developed in collaboration with the School of Civil and Construction Engineering, starts with foundational science and math courses before advancing to engineering and forest science studies. The curriculum culminates in specialized forest engineering courses covering surveying, water and soil resources, timber operations, systems analysis, roadway design, and project planning. Program completers qualify to sit for the Fundamentals of Engineering exam.
