The BioResource Research (BRR) program is an interdisciplinary bioscience degree focused on investigative studies to comprehend and conserve Earth's biological assets while discovering innovative and eco-friendly applications. BRR participants engage in an extensive guided research project within advanced domains of agricultural, biological, chemical, environmental, food, or health sciences. Mentors for BRR students include faculty from throughout Oregon State University, along with experts from extension stations and governmental organizations. Every upperclassman's coursework is tailored according to their selected specialization and research focus. Beyond research proficiency, BRR graduates acquire extensive bioscience knowledge, professional preparation, and enhanced analytical and communication abilities. These competencies pave the way for opportunities in corporate or scholarly research, environmental stewardship, and advanced studies in biological sciences and healthcare fields.
