The Cyber Operations major is an interdisciplinary field covering all aspects of cyberspace and related activities, including both technical and non-technical dimensions (such as ethical, legal, and human-centered considerations). It serves as a companion field to Cybersecurity, with a strong focus on technologies and methods relevant across all operational and system levels. The curriculum blends theoretical foundations, practical applications, and hands-on laboratory experiences based on real-world situations. Students develop expertise in system infiltration, exploitation, defense strategies, threat mitigation, and recovery processes.
