The Dual-Degree program in Science and Engineering, offered in partnership with NYU Tandon School of Engineering (previously called Polytechnic School of Engineering), enables academically strong, driven students with technical interests to combine a liberal arts science major with a conventional engineering curriculum. This option suits those passionate about STEM fields who also desire a well-rounded liberal arts foundation before diving into engineering studies. After five years, participants earn two Bachelor of Science degrees—one from the College of Arts and Science and another from NYU Tandon. Program participants fulfill all College Core Curriculum obligations except the language requirement, which is waived. (Their mandatory math and science classes inherently meet the Scientific Inquiry Foundations criteria.)
