Civil and Environmental Engineering offers dynamic and fulfilling career paths dedicated to serving communities from local to global scales. Our alumni pursue opportunities in government agencies at various levels, as well as consulting firms of all sizes worldwide, branching into diverse fields like healthcare, legal practice, and entrepreneurial ventures.
Graduate students collaborate with advisors to create customized degree plans aligned with their goals. Six specialized study areas are available. The program mandates completion of a minimum 30 post-baccalaureate credit hours, featuring a research thesis (maximum 6 thesis credits). With advisory committee approval, students may opt for a 32-credit non-thesis alternative.
