The demand for public health experts has surged significantly since the COVID-19 pandemic began. Careers in public health span across various sectors including government agencies at all levels, NGOs, nonprofit groups, private companies, healthcare facilities, academic institutions, and research initiatives. Students pursuing a Master's in Public Health (MPH) are driven by a desire to improve community well-being by preventing illnesses and injuries, and our program provides them with interdisciplinary, research-backed methods to achieve these goals.
Oklahoma State University's public health program combines academic learning with hands-on training through internships and collaborative projects with faculty. Our MPH curriculum offers students essential materials, guidance, and support to address pressing research questions while emphasizing the value of ongoing public health education.

Two letters of recommendation are required
The field of public health is a corner stone of community service and outreach Related experience serving rural populations or otherwise addressing needs for underserved populations is preferred Related experience does not have to be within the field of public health but may demonstrate dedication to a topic or populations skills in leadership etc
