Mechanical Engineering Technology focuses on engineering design and practical implementation. This field encompasses mechanical design, power systems, and manufacturing processes. Laboratory work serves as a fundamental educational method in MET. The program features specialized labs for fluid power, materials science, fluid mechanics, thermal sciences, instrumentation, computer-aided design (CAD), and manufacturing. A culminating senior design course brings together student teams to synthesize the knowledge and abilities acquired throughout their studies.
