The Translational Plant Sciences Graduate Program (TPSGP) caters to dedicated students eager to conduct groundbreaking, impactful research. Supported by a cross-disciplinary team of faculty mentors, this initiative cultivates future pioneers in sustainable agricultural biotechnology. The program welcomes outstanding candidates from diverse backgrounds such as chemistry, engineering, entomology, ecology, evolutionary biology, molecular genetics, microbiology, crop sciences, plant pathology, and bioinformatics. Prospective PhD students focusing on these research domains are invited to apply: Sustainable global agriculture, Plant biotechnology innovations, Academic-industry partnerships worldwide, Renewable biofuels and bioproducts, Environmental sustainability, Plant-microbe interactions, and Botanical applications in human and animal wellness.
A baccalaureate or professional degree (or equivalent foreign credential) from an accredited college or university, earned by the expected date of entry into your graduate program. A minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale) in all prior undergraduate and graduate work.
