The Plant Pathology Graduate program enjoys a stellar national reputation, featuring a top-ranked doctoral program (NRC 2010) and distinguished faculty dedicated to graduate studies. Students benefit from a comprehensive course selection, state-of-the-art research facilities, and robust cross-disciplinary partnerships. Our Department excels in research, education, and extension services, addressing both fundamental and practical aspects of plant pathology, plant-microbe relationships, and plant health solutions. Faculty members are based at Ohio State's Columbus campus and the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center (OARDC) in Wooster, approximately 90 miles (145 km) northeast of Columbus.
A baccalaureate or professional degree (or equivalent foreign credential) from an accredited college or university, earned by the expected date of entry into your graduate program. A minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale) in all prior undergraduate and graduate work.
