The doctoral program in nutrition is a collaborative initiative across multiple colleges, including Education and Human Ecology, Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, Medicine, and Veterinary Medicine. This PhD curriculum blends academic instruction with hands-on training to ready students for the multifaceted field of contemporary nutrition science. As Ohio's sole program of this caliber, the nutrition PhD benefits from resources across four Columbus campus colleges, the OARDC Research Center in Wooster, over 15 academic departments, 30+ faculty experts, and renowned facilities like the Comprehensive Cancer Center and Food Innovation Center.
A baccalaureate or professional degree (or equivalent foreign credential) from an accredited college or university, earned by the expected date of entry into your graduate program. A minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale) in all prior undergraduate and graduate work.
