We appreciate your enthusiasm for the Department of Human Sciences. Our graduate studies include a Kinesiology program with concentrations in Sport Management, Physical Education, and Health and Exercise Science, culminating in either an M.S. or Ph.D. Additionally, we provide a Master of Sport Coaching degree. The Kinesiology program aims to develop experts, researchers, and communities by highlighting the importance of sports, physical activity, physical education, management, and scientific inquiry. Special emphasis is given to combating obesity, enhancing health and wellness across all ages, school-based physical education, the social and historical aspects of sports, athletic business operations, and encouraging consistent engagement in physical activity programs and educational initiatives to foster lifelong wellbeing.
A baccalaureate or professional degree (or equivalent foreign credential) from an accredited college or university, earned by the expected date of entry into your graduate program. A minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale) in all prior undergraduate and graduate work.
