Oakland University's Central Office Administration Program, grounded in standards, embodies our most effective approach to training Central Office Leaders for enhancing education in modern schools. Structured as an Executive School Leadership Academy, participants will advance through this 12-month, 24-credit program as a group. To suit working professionals, classes will adopt a hybrid model, combining monthly in-person Saturday sessions with weekly virtual discussions. The mandatory internship, integrated with coursework, starts in the first semester and spans the entire program. Guided by state and national leadership benchmarks, Oakland University's Central Office curriculum aims to merge theoretical insights with practical application. For those considering further study, the program also facilitates an easy transition into either Doctoral pathway (Ed.D. or Ph.D.).
