Columbia's dual degree programs offer adaptable enrollment options that can vary each year or semester. However, students should note that SIPA financial assistance is exclusively for semesters when attending SIPA and cannot be applied to other Columbia schools under any conditions. During your time at Columbia, the school you're attending each semester will determine your financial aid options, which may include scholarships, fellowships, assistantships, loans, or Work Study. Dual degree candidates have equal access to SIPA funding opportunities as single-degree students. When enrolled at another Columbia school, be mindful of SIPA's specific deadlines and processes. Leveraging Columbia University's extensive resources, SIPA provides multiple dual degree options with other schools, allowing students to develop expertise in both International/Public Affairs and complementary fields. These programs enable students to earn two degrees more efficiently than pursuing them independently.
In order to be eligible for admission, international applicants must hold, or be in the process of obtaining, the equivalent of a U.S. baccalaureate degree.
