The Master of Science in Physics program combines coursework, research projects, seminar involvement, and a culminating research thesis. Graduates will gain the qualifications needed to pursue a PhD in physics, teach at community colleges, or enter industrial research positions.
Most students starting in fall typically finish the degree within two academic years. Exceptionally prepared candidates may complete all required coursework and research within three semesters. Every student's curriculum is customized based on their academic interests and prior experience.
Program completion requires: Successful fulfillment of 36 credit hours through an approved study plan to earn the Master of Science in Physics degree.
