Pursue your passion and bring your theatrical aspirations to life with Nova Southeastern University's Bachelor of Arts in Theatre program. Whether you focus on stage and screen acting, musical performance, or behind-the-scenes production design, you'll gain the skills to thrive as a working theatre professional.
NSU's comprehensive theatre curriculum immerses students in collaborative learning. You'll master theatrical production while adopting industry standards. Through studying diverse historical styles and techniques, you'll develop the ability to craft culturally aware, groundbreaking performances. The program encourages creative entrepreneurship through participation in Stage 2 Productions, our student-run theatre company. You'll connect with a vibrant network of directors, designers, choreographers, and performers while creating shows that draw crowds from campus and the surrounding area. Graduates leave prepared to work alongside industry experts as performers or technical specialists, or to continue their education in advanced degree programs.
If you’re planning to attend college for the first time after graduating from high school, you’re considered a freshman applicant at Nova Southeastern University.
Proof of English language proficiency with a passing score on one of the following:
TOEFL: 79 on the Internet-based test
IELTS: 6.0 or higher on the test module
Cambridge English B2 First, C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency
Duolingo Test of English: 105 or higher
PTE Academic: Overall score of 54 or higher
iTEP Academic: Overall score of 3.9 or higher
Passing Level 4 or higher from TALK English Schools
Completion and passing of ELS Level 112 Intensive Program English for Academic Purposes
SAT verbal scores of 520 or higher or ACT English score of 20
