This graduate program prepares students for academic roles or research leadership positions across public and private institutions. Upon graduation, students will gain the capabilities to:

The curriculum features an executive-style schedule tailored for medical professionals and faculty members. Admissions occur each Summer, with options for either intensive one-year completion or a more flexible two-year part-time pathway.
Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine's HSOR program develops physicians, healthcare practitioners, and non-clinical professionals for careers in academic medicine, healthcare systems, and policy research. The program's adaptable hybrid structure supports both full-time and part-time enrollment, making it accessible to students beyond the Chicago region.
Admitted students must hold a U.S. bachelor’s degree or a comparable non-U.S. degree from a regionally accredited institution.
