The Philosophy program equips students with fundamental skills and knowledge in philosophy (covering logic, ethics, and philosophical history), while offering flexibility to explore specific areas of personal interest.
Studying philosophy cultivates analytical thinking, precise communication, and the ability to integrate diverse information into a unified framework. These competencies are essential for thriving in today's intricate, multicultural society.
Notably, philosophy students consistently achieve high scores on graduate admissions exams like the LSAT and GRE. Positioned at the intersection of humanities and sciences, philosophy addresses core conceptual questions across disciplines while maintaining its unique curriculum. This makes philosophy not just rewarding for those passionate about its inquiries, but also an excellent complementary major for students seeking deeper understanding of their primary field of study.
