The Business Technology major is a unique combination of business and cutting-edge technology courses. Professors provide a strong foundation in business and technical skills that teach the most up-to-date techniques. Students complete the common professional component and high-demand courses that ultimately prepare them to be marketable and competitive for employment in a technology-driven environment.
Northwest's School of Computer Science and Information Systems annually hosts a professional advisory team with more than 40 professionals from various industries to review Northwest's computer science curriculum. This effort ensures Northwest's curriculum is relevant and effective.
Freshman admission for international students is evaluated on an individual basis. Admission is offered to students who possess academic qualifications equivalent to those required for domestic first-time freshmen. Consideration is given to the courses taken and grades received in secondary school, as well as to results of school leaving examinations and certificates.
A minimum high school grade point average of 2.00 or "C" average and;
A college-preparatory curriculum in secondary school, including courses in mathematics, science, language and social studies.
