Qualification Requirements

Students seeking admission to the M.S. program in Industrial and Systems Engineering with a Specialization in Engineering Management must hold an accredited B.S. degree in any of the engineering majors, or Technology, or a related science field.. An applicant whose native language is not English must present an IELTS score of 6.5 or alternatively, a TOEFL score of at least 80 on the TOELF ibt.Normally, to be considered for admission, a non-U.S. citizen shall have completed a four-year undergraduate degree. A minimum 2.75 overall GPA on a 4.00 system or a 3.20 GPA with 15 or more semester hours of graduate work at an accredited institution.
Admission to the graduate program in industrial management requires a baccalaureate degree in engineering, technology, or industrial education. Consideration may also be given to applicants with degrees in related areas who have appropriate industrial experience. The department requires competencies in trigonometry/pre-calculus and statistics completed during undergraduate studies, deficiencies in these requirements must be satisfied prior to admission.
