Master's students have the opportunity to obtain three specialized graduate study certificates. To enroll in these certificates, applicants must receive approval from the Eating Disorders and Obesity Certificate admissions committee. The School of Health Studies office provides comprehensive details about the admission process and requirements. Applications must be submitted by the same deadlines as the Graduate School applications. Eligibility requires a Bachelor of Science degree, along with introductory coursework in nutrition, psychology, and family relationships, where applicants must have achieved at least a C grade for program acceptance.

Qualification Requirements

An applicant whose native language is not English must present an IELTS score of 6.5 or alternatively, a TOEFL score of at least 80 on the TOEFL ibt. Normally, to be considered for admission, a non-U.S. citizen shall have completed a four-year undergraduate degree. A minimum 2.75 overall GPA on a 4.00 system or a 3.20 GPA with 15 or more semester hours of graduate work at an accredited institution.
Admission to the certificate requires approval of the Eating Disorders and Obesity Certificate admissions committee. Procedures for admission to this certificate and other detailed information are available from the School of Health Studies office. Application deadlines coincide with Graduate School application deadlines.
