Sociology offers an intriguing exploration of social interactions, transformations, and the fundamental influences on human conduct. You'll investigate various subjects including the origins and effects of criminal activity, economic disparities, bias and unfair treatment, legal systems and nonconformity, faith-based practices and collective actions. This discipline analyzes the patterns of societal existence, transformations, and the root societal drivers and outcomes of actions. Enrolled students will engage with diverse coursework mirroring the field's varied focus areas, such as: Group behavior analysis, Criminal justice studies, Stratification studies (examining racial, economic, and gender divides), Extremist violence analysis, Societal evolution, Healthcare systems study, Metropolitan community research, Theoretical frameworks of society, Investigative techniques.
