To obtain an Associate in Arts in Sociology for Transfer, students must complete 60 transferable semester units, including either the IGETC or CSU General Education requirements, plus 18 major-specific units. A minimum 2.0 GPA in all transferable coursework and a grade of C or higher in major courses are required. Students who earn this transfer degree are exempt from additional local graduation requirements.
