Our institution provides the most extensive undergraduate public law curriculum in the region, featuring three nationally acclaimed scholars (including two with law degrees) who specialize in public law and maintain faculty connections with NIU's School of Law. Students can choose from numerous law-focused courses examining the framework and operations of the U.S. legal system, utilizing various teaching approaches such as seminars, traditional lectures, case studies, and online learning. Outside academics, participants can engage in Mock Trial events and become members of NIU's Pre-Law Society.
