Geography examines places and their positions, investigating why things are located where they are and how a place's features influence natural phenomena, ecosystems, and human behavior. It delves into our relationship with, modification of, and stewardship of the physical world. As an applied science, geography not only enhances our comprehension of the planet but also equips us to adjust and prosper within it. Students can pursue either a B.S. or B.A. degree with a geography focus by choosing specialized courses in GIS and cartography, natural environmental systems, urban-economic structures, regional studies, or by exploring our comprehensive course offerings. Additionally, we provide a B.S. degree concentrating on geomatics, combining conventional land surveying methods with modern technological advancements like Geographic Information Science (GIS), mapmaking, satellite imagery interpretation, and spatial data examination.
