The program provides an overview of all visual arts disciplines available at the School of Art and Design, equipping students to select their bachelor's degree path. Fiber arts incorporate diverse materials and methods, uniquely bridging contemporary art and design conversations. The fiber studies curriculum includes training in: Papercraft, Book arts, Fabric dyeing, printing, and painting, Weaving and textile creation, Multimedia approaches, The program emphasizes blending textile heritage with elements of photography, sculpture, printmaking, painting, fashion, and installation art. After foundational courses, you'll concentrate on developing your individual artistic voice, supported by critical analysis, theoretical exploration, and group evaluations.
