Our institution provides the area's most extensive undergraduate public law curriculum, featuring three nationally acclaimed scholars (two with additional law degrees) specializing in public law and holding faculty positions at NIU's School of Law. Our program includes diverse law-focused courses examining the framework and operations of the U.S. legal system, utilizing various teaching approaches such as seminars, traditional lectures, case studies, and online learning. Outside academics, students can engage in Mock Trial events and become members of NIU's Pre-Law Society.
