Geography examines spaces and their positions, investigating the reasons behind spatial distributions and how a place's traits influence natural phenomena, ecosystems, and human behavior. It delves into our relationships with, modifications to, and stewardship of the physical world. As an applied science, geography not only enhances our comprehension of the planet but also enables us to adjust and prosper within it. Students can pursue either a B.S. or B.A. with a geography focus by choosing specialized courses in GIS and cartography, natural ecosystems, urban-economic structures, regional studies, or by exploring our comprehensive course offerings. Additionally, we provide a B.S. with a geomatics concentration, combining conventional surveying methods with modern technological advancements like Geographic Information Science (GIS), mapmaking, satellite imagery interpretation, and spatial data analysis.
