The School of Law provides a selection of LLM programs designed to be internationally focused, adaptable, and innovative. Whether you aim to understand the complexities of the US legal framework, collaborate directly with American attorneys, specialize in a specific legal area, or prepare for a US bar exam, Northeastern's LLM program supports legal professionals in reaching their individual and career objectives. The On-Campus LLM delivers an intensive academic program that builds a solid grounding in legal principles and practical skills while allowing students to pursue their professional aspirations. Students complete nine months of coursework, with an optional three-month cooperative experience for eligible candidates. Northeastern Law presents numerous ways to engage with pressing human rights issues. You can enroll in human rights classes led by distinguished scholars and activists, join focused clinical programs, pursue global cooperative placements, and work alongside the Program on Human Rights and the Global Economy (PHRGE) to advance economic, social, and cultural rights worldwide.
