The pharmacology PhD program allows students to focus on examining how drugs interact with biological systems.
Alongside building a strong theoretical foundation through classes and seminars, the curriculum aims to enhance students' capacity to analyze and assess contemporary pharmacological research, guiding their independent lab work that contributes to drug-related knowledge and therapeutic uses.Qualified candidates with a master's in pharmaceutical sciences or a similar field may enter the PhD program at an advanced level, concentrating on specialized research coursework and completing their dissertation defense. Prospective students must submit academic records for evaluation by the admissions committee to determine advanced entry eligibility.
Many pharmacology PhD recipients secure roles in university or corporate research settings after graduation.

Qualification Requirements
A baccalaureate degree or its equivalent in biology, chemistry, medical technology, pharmacy, chemical engineering or a related field.
At least two semesters undergraduate courses (or their equivalent) in each of the following: mathematics (including calculus), biology, physics, biochemistry, and organic chemistry.
A bachelor's degree in any field, completed no later than July 2022. GPA 3.0 or higher.
