The Bachelor of Science in Chemistry program aims to equip students with comprehensive knowledge and expertise in core chemistry principles. Throughout their studies, learners cultivate both qualitative and quantitative analytical abilities alongside strong communication skills. The Chemistry and Chemical Biology Department delivers foundational and contemporary chemistry education, featuring an American Chemical Society-approved BS in Chemistry program. It also provides a joint BS in Biochemistry with the Biology Department and collaborates with Marine and Environmental Sciences to offer a combined BS in Environmental Geology and Chemistry.
