The Political Science Bachelor of Arts program begins with foundational courses in the field, progressing to methodological studies, specialized electives, and a culminating capstone experience. Learners examine and evaluate various aspects of U.S. governance, global political systems, international affairs, and theoretical political thought. Through elective options, students can focus on specific areas of interest or create their own academic journey. This degree program mandates foreign language proficiency at the collegiate level. The curriculum covers both theoretical and practical aspects of political systems in America and globally. Hands-on learning possibilities feature an intensive summer session at Geneva's United Nations, along with prestigious internships in Washington's White House or London's Parliament. Students can contribute analytical articles to campus political publications or compete with elite Model NATO teams nationally. As a field of study, political science offers globally relevant knowledge and dynamic career prospects with practical applications. Political processes influence all collective human endeavors.
