The Associate of Applied Science in Cyber Defense provides students with the expertise and practical abilities to create, administer, and protect zero trust networks. Graduates of this program gain proficiency in utilizing cyber defense tools to perform threat assessments, analyze risks, detect signs of compromise in network traffic, address security breaches, and collect digital evidence for cybercrime investigations. This program also readies students for professional certifications including CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Linux+, Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE4), and CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+).
