This program fulfills the criteria for the Associate of Science-Direct Transfer Agreement (AS-DTA) degree with a focus on Environmental Science. Earning this degree creates opportunities in diverse fields such as research, education, health and safety, non-profit organizations, sustainable development, green business, technology, and public sector roles. Additionally, it enables seamless transfer to a four-year institution's Environmental Science program at the junior level.

Participants in this program gain cross-disciplinary environmental competencies. Learners will integrate and articulate core environmental science concepts to real-world situations. Through scientific investigation, students will apply contemporary environmental knowledge, analyze pressing ecological challenges, and develop solutions using analytical reasoning.
