The School of Natural Resource Sciences offers Natural Resources Management (NRM) programs designed to equip students with skills to tackle modern environmental issues. Students can pursue a Master of Natural Resources Management (M.N.R.M.), Master of Science (M.S.), or Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in NRM. These interdisciplinary degrees take a comprehensive, systems-oriented approach to resource management, preparing graduates for careers requiring cross-disciplinary problem-solving. NRM alumni develop expertise in addressing challenges through a sustainable socio-ecological lens.
The NRM graduate curriculum provides extensive training in planning, analysis, and resource administration.
For the M.N.R.M. degree, candidates must complete at least 30 semester credits in their chosen specialization and deliver an oral presentation on a self-selected NRM topic.
