The Educational Leadership program aims to equip professionals with the skills needed for leadership positions in both K-12 and higher education environments. This includes roles like teacher leaders, mid-level administrators (such as principals or college administrators), and top-tier positions like district superintendents.
Available degrees consist of a 32-credit Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Educational Leadership - K-12 Leadership, along with a 36-credit M.Ed. or Master of Science (M.S.) in Educational Leadership - Higher Education Administration.
K-12 Leadership
The K-12 Leadership track helps channel your dedication to education by developing the professional and managerial abilities required for student-centered leadership. Program graduates gain the expertise, competencies, and practical experience to guide teams through data-driven decisions and cooperative efforts.
This K-12 Leadership program holds accreditation from the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) and meets the standards set by the North Dakota Education Standards and Practices Board. Note that updates to federal or state regulations may impact program requirements.
