The Counselor Education program, accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Programs (CACREP), trains professionals to provide counseling services to culturally diverse populations across various environments. Master's degree specializations include school counseling and clinical mental health counseling. Applications for master's programs are reviewed annually after the February 1 deadline. Accepted school counseling candidates must commence coursework the subsequent summer, while clinical mental health students may choose to begin in either summer or fall.
